Compassionate Support:
Emotional Dysregulation, OCD
& Mood Disorders
Living with intense emotions, intrusive thoughts, mood instability, or relationship struggles can feel exhausting and isolating. Conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Bipolar Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can deeply affect how a person thinks, feels, responds to stress, and connects with others. Many individuals silently battle overwhelming emotions, racing thoughts, impulsive behaviors, fear of abandonment, compulsions, or dramatic shifts in mood while trying to keep up with everyday life.
Stronger Minds. Healthier Lives.
Symptoms may include emotional highs and lows, difficulty regulating emotions, impulsivity, unstable relationships, intrusive or obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, chronic anxiety, fear of rejection, mood swings, irritability, depression, self-criticism, panic, or feeling emotionally out of control. These challenges can make it difficult to maintain healthy relationships, manage responsibilities, perform consistently at work or school, or feel stable and confident in daily life.

Without support, these symptoms can impact nearly every area of life — including careers, friendships, family dynamics, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. Many people experience cycles of conflict, emotional burnout, isolation, difficulty trusting others, or feeling misunderstood by those around them. Over time, untreated symptoms can increase stress, emotional exhaustion, and feelings of hopelessness.

The good news is that healing, stability, and emotional growth are possible with the right support. Therapy provides a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where individuals can better understand their emotions, recognize patterns, and develop healthier coping skills and relationships.

My treatment approach is individualized and may include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, emotional regulation techniques, distress tolerance skills, trauma-informed care, strengths-based counseling, and psychoeducation. I also incorporate guided workbooks, coping exercises, journaling tools, behavioral strategies, and practical between-session support to help clients build emotional awareness, resilience, and lasting progress.

For added comfort and flexibility, I offer secure telehealth therapy services so you can receive support from the privacy of your own home. Whether you are struggling with emotional overwhelm, anxiety about leaving home, a demanding schedule, or simply prefer virtual sessions, telehealth makes mental health care more accessible and manageable.

You are not “too much,” broken, or beyond help. With compassionate support and evidence-based treatment, it is possible to gain greater emotional balance, healthier relationships, improved coping skills, and a stronger sense of self.
